My name is Michael Williams. I have been racing BMX for 16years.I started my racing career in 1995 where I won the Nationals
for the 5 and under mixed. I've been hooked ever since.
Racing BMX has allowed me to travel all over New Zealand and occasional overseas trip.
I was selected for the NZ High Performance Team after the 2006 nationals when I made the Senior Test Team
at age 17 to travel to Australia.
When BMX was announced as a new Olympic sport I automatically made it my goal to part of the NZ olympic
team in London 2012.
To make this a possibility I know that dedication and time are neccessary to help me achieve my goals.I am hoping to attend
most of the Supercross World Cups, Oceania ranking rounds and World Championships all over the world leading up
to the Olympics, 2012.
I have decided to create this website so when I'm overseas or at a big event in New Zealand I can keep my family, friends
and supporters up to date on what I and the team are up to.
